A romantic weekend on the Gulf of Valinco: two nights, one suite
At Casa Mare e Macchia, stays start at two nights: exactly the length of a weekend. You arrive from 4pm, you have a suite for two above the Gulf of Valinco, and the chef's table on the ground floor. Everything else is a few minutes from the house.
Choosing your suite for two nights
Over a weekend, two details matter more than usual: the departure time and where you will spend the evening.
Luna lets you leave as late as 11am, an hour later than the rest of the house. It is level with the infinity pool, with its private sun loungers: your last morning is spent by the water.
Nina has its large private terrace on the top floor, with its outdoor lounge, the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. It is the sunset suite. We describe the view from each suite on a separate page.
Both measure 30 m², with a queen bed, and take only two people.
Friday evening
Check-in is from 4pm to 11pm. The booking form asks for your expected time, and it has a field called “A note for Andrée”: that is where you mention a birthday or a request.
If you arrive late, Propriano harbour is three minutes away: you can go down for dinner or a drink. If you arrive early, the pool awaits you before dinner.
Saturday
In the morning, breakfast is served from 8am to 10.30am, in the garden or in the large open kitchen, as an option at €25 per person.
For the day, choose between the sea and the house. The coves in the south of the gulf are reached by boat: tell us the day before what would make you happy, a boat to hire, a trip out with a skipper or a whole day, and we take care of the rest. The concierge service is included with a suite. If you stay in, the house arranges a massage for two on site, at €100 per person for one hour.
In the evening, on the ground floor, L'Atelier des Sens lays a single long table at 8pm, by reservation. The opening evenings change with the season: in autumn 2026, the table opens on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, and on Saturdays it is the seven-course Atelier des Sens menu, at €95 per person, with optional wine pairing. You share the table with the evening's other guests, from 2 to 12 people. To have it to yourselves, private hire is possible depending on the occasion, with prices on request.
After dessert, your suite is just upstairs.
Sunday morning
Check-out is between 7am and 10am, until 11am for Luna. A later check-out is sometimes possible depending on the day's arrivals: just ask.

Booking a weekend, even at short notice
You can book up to the day before arrival, and the online booking calendar is always up to date. For the suites, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before arrival; after that, the first night remains payable. A 30% deposit is required on booking.
