Staying near the Bains de Baracci: the thermal baths five minutes from the house
The Bains de Baracci are about five minutes' drive from Casa Mare e Macchia. Their sulphurous waters come out naturally hot. The baths close between November and March: the rest of the year, you spend a late afternoon there, then drive back up to the house for dinner.

The baths are on the Route de Baracci, in the commune of Olmeto, about five minutes from the house. Baracci beach, the nearest beach to the house, is in the same commune.
What the baths offer
The Bains de Baracci describe their waters as sulphurous and naturally hot. On site: an indoor and outdoor pool, balneotherapy, a hammam, a sauna and a jacuzzi.
Their website gives these opening hours:
- in high season, every day from 10am to 8pm;
- from late September, from 10am to 7pm;
- last entry at 7.15pm for the pool and at 6.45pm for the spa;
- a technical closure every year between November and March.

Baracci beach
It is the nearest beach to the house. Visit Corsica describes it as a broad ribbon of sand that keeps a wild character despite being so close to Propriano. It faces west: this is the place for sunsets. The tourist office notes free parking there. When the sea is rough, swimming can be dangerous.
Planning your day from the house
Here, everything is a few minutes' drive away. In the morning, the house's infinity pool, heated and filled with salt water. In the afternoon, the baths, open until 8pm in high season. Late in the day, the sunset on Baracci beach. In the evening, L'Atelier des Sens lays its long table at 8pm, by reservation, on the ground floor.
If you are staying in a suite, the Pool Lounge serves aperitifs from 6pm to 8pm, by the pool: boards of Corsican charcuterie and cheeses, plates to share.
From November to March, the baths are closed. The house's pool stays open all year, and the house's massages take over: relaxing, deep or firmer, €80 an hour solo, €160 for two hours, or €100 per person for one hour for two. Suite or villa?
As a couple, Luna lives level with the pool, with its private sun loungers. Nina has its large private terrace on the top floor, the sea on one side, the mountains on the other. Massages take place on site.
